I can almost guarantee that any pet that is contained in this fencing system will never leave your yard or any area that you what your pet contained in or kept out of.
  Your pet wears a "shocker collar" on its collar and you just run a wire around the areas that you want to keep your pet in or out of.  The wire is attached to a special adjustable shock generator that puts out a signal to let the pet know when it is close to the wire...and then if it is ignored, your pet gets "corrected" (That is politically correct for getting shocked).  With a little training your pet will almost never get shocked after the initial setup because it knows its boundaries. You will never know HOW WELL they know their boundaries until you try this system.  They REALLY know where they can go and where they can't.
  You can keep your pet in the back yard with out a physical fence (like chain linked, wood, etc, and never fear that it will chase a rabbit or child out of the yard.
  The same system can be used to keep your pet out of the garden or the pool area.  I use mine to keep my new puppy out of the living room in my house as well as out of the main store building on the property here.
  Another variation is a wireless system that works similar but a unit is placed in the center of the area where you want your pet to stay. The collar on your pet will correct the animal if it wanders out of that electric field gen
