Faxing is one of the most important services I provide for my customers. Papers and documents that need to be faxed are almost always critical and there is no time for the mail or even FedEx overnight.
I have 2 fax machines to use for faxing out. They both are reliable and very dependable. However, sometimes I get a "comm error" on one of them but not on the other so it helps that I can use the second fax to be able to quickly bypass that inconvenience.
Faxing is an old art of communication that is still being used by large companies, especially government offices. It takes anything of color and turns it into a black object. If I fax a yellow page with black typing on it the yellow is a color and is turned black and usually the recipient receives a black page that is not readable. In order to send a page like this I make a copy of it on the Lanier copier and this produces a white page with black typing or writing and can then be easily faxed. However this is not always possible. There are other tricks that can be used to make difficult pages faxable and I do my best to insure that your fax is received in a useable form.
Most companies will not take the time to do these things even if they had the equipment to improve the fax pages. They are harried clerks with little or no training and will just send the fax and charge you whether it is received or not, and whether it is readable or not. I do not charge to resend a fax if it was not readable unless I can successfully make it acceptable at the other end.
It is important to me that your fax is received.
Every fax that is sent gets a "confirmation page" to prove that it was sent and that it was received.
I will also receive your faxes for the same fees, $1.50 for the first page and $1 for each additional page.
